Career

Anania Moges is a law graduate from Hawassa University, where she earned her LLB. During her studies, Anania has participated in various international and regional moot court competitions, including the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. She has worked as a legal extern at the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission’s Civil and Political Rights Department, contributing to legislative compliance assessments, advocacy, and legal research. Anania has also held the positions of vice chair of the EU-Ethiopia Youth Sounding Board Human Development Team and interim country representative for Ethiopia at the African Women Conference (AWC-Next). She has also served as a co-founder and former president of the United Nations Association of Ethiopia Hawassa University Chapter, leading initiatives aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
