Junior Associate

Alia works in the Corporate and Projects team at Afifi’s. She has been involved in several transactions, whereby, she participated through providing legal advice and conducting legal research from Egyptian law perspective. Alia provides advisory on day-to-day business to client on doing business in Egypt, this includes but not limited to drafting, reviewing and negotiation of the execution or termination agreements.

Alia represents clients before the various governmental entities which include but not limited to the General Authority for Investment, Tax Authority, General Organization for Export and Import Control and the Central Bank of Egypt. She has been involved in preparing and drafting many corporate documents such as EGM, OGM and AOA as well as Share Purchase Agreements and Share Transfer Agreements.

Alia participates with our aviation team in several aviation transactions that involve number of leading aircraft lessors.
