Founding Partner

Ali Ürey was born in Ceyhan, Adana. He graduated form İstanbul University Faculty of Law in 1985. Ali Ürey received his master’s degree in 1988, completed his doctorate in 1998 within İstanbul University and obtained the title of PhD.

He started his professional career as a lawyer in 1986. He established Urey Law Firm in 2018 after working for a long time at Fındıklı Law Office which he was one of the founders.

Ali Ürey, known for his interest in social and cultural issues, led the establishment of “Kültür Ocağı Derneği” in 1986 and the transformation of this association into a foundation under the name of “Kültür Ocağı Vakfı (KOCAV)” in 1997 as a “Founding President”. He participated in establishment preparations of “Motif Halk Oyunları Eğitim ve Öğretim Vakfı” which was founded in 2004. He was also among the founders of “Ceyhan Kültür ve Dayanışma Derneği” as the youngest founder.

He continues his professional activities as a lawyer registered in İstanbul Bar Association. He is married and has two children.
