Irene joined Koukounis, Karaolis LLC in 2021 after having worked more than seven years in a well-established law firm in Cyprus. Irene specializes in corporate law matters, the provision of legal advice and legal implementation in relation to various international transactions including restructuring, acquisitions, mergers, both local and cross-border and transfer of legal seat, both inbound and outbound.

She has extensive experience in company law matters, corporate governance of Cyprus companies, setting up trusts and applications at the District Courts. Irene also provides advice on numerous debt restructurings, securities in the form of charges and pledges over assets, legal opinions on various company law matters and issuing of legal due diligence reports.
