Román Mejías has a distinguished track record in the debt finance practice, recognized both nationally and internationally. Throughout he has advised on complex financing transactions, focusing on high-added-value matters, working with a diverse portfolio of clients that includes financial institutions, multinational companies, and investment funds, both in Spain and international markets.

With extensive experience in legal practice, Román has led a wide range of high-level financial transactions, specializing in areas such as Direct Lending, Non-Performing Loans, refinancing, debt restructuring, and the coordination of multinational structures.

Before joining ZADAL, Román was part of the Debt Finance Law Department at Cuatrecasas, where he participated in some of the most significant transactions in the market.

He holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Navarra.
