Position

Jaantje Kramer started her career as a criminal lawyer in 2016. She joined Jebbink Soeteman advocaten in 2020.

Career

Jaantje Kramer studied criminal law and international criminal law at the University of Amsterdam and Columbia Law School in New York. During her studies, she practiced in criminal law as a paralegal at various smaller and larger law firms. She also clerked at the criminal law department of the district court of Amsterdam.

In 2016, she started as a defense lawyer at Allen & Overy LLP where she represented clients in complex and cross-border financial economic crime cases. Prior to starting her career as a lawyer, Jaantje Kramer taught criminal law and criminal law of procedure at the University of Leiden. She has published various articles. She also teaches in the formal training program of lawyers, judges and prosecutors.
