Hazel is a solicitor in Sinclair Gibson’s Private Client Department. She advises individuals, families and trustees on a wide range of international and domestic private client matters.

Career

Hazel completed her training contract at a national law firm in Scotland. Following qualification Hazel moved to London in 2018 and worked in the tax and estate planning team of a UK law firm before joining Sinclair Gibson in 2021.

Memberships

Hazel is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and is currently working towards the STEP Diploma in Tax and Estate Planning.

Education

Hazel studied Law at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2015, and completing the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow in 2016. As part of her degree, Hazel studied in Sweden at Lund University for a year.

Hazel qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2018. She passed the Qualified Lawyer Transfer Scheme in 2019 to dual qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales.
