Career

Founding Partner at Lathrop Mujica Herrera & Diez  Abogados. Attorney, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; Master’s in Corporate Law from the same institution, as well as an LL.M. in International and Corporate Law from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, France. For over 16 years, he worked at the firm Eluchans Abogados, initially as a paralegal, then as attorney and later as a partner, advising and strategically supporting both companies and individuals in their legal needs with successful outcomes. From October 2023, he took an independent path by founding Lathrop, Mujica & Herrera Abogados.
Fernando has primarily focused his practice on advising national and international clients in corporate law, real estate, and infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on family businesses operating in sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, real estate, wholesale trade, entertainment, gastronomy, among others. He also serves as a board member in local and foreign companies and nonprofit corporations. He was recognized in the latest edition of The Legal 500 in the “next generation” category in Corporate M&A.
