Attorney, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Tax Law from Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien), and LL.M. with a specialization in Tax Law from Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Mr. Diez leads the tax law area and has been dedicated for more than 12 years to advice companies and family groups on tax matters, including corporate reorganization, family tax planning, as well as support in audit processes before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (SII) and judicial procedures before the Tax and Customs Courts. His professional development also includes academia, where he teaches and has published specialized articles in tax law journals from different countries. Currently, he is a professor in the Diploma in Tax Analysis and Planning offered by Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). Additionally, he has been invited as a speaker at seminars in his specialty, both in Chile and internationally.

Previously, he was a partner at Recabarren & Asociados, and between 2012 and 2015, he was a senior lawyer in the tax consultancy area at EY.
