Abou El Fadl is one of the few lawyers who possess a recognized track record for setting precedents before Egyptian Courts as well as Arbitral Tribunals. He has handled major legal issues before the Egyptian Courts and numerous Arbitral Tribunals on behalf of petroleum companies, foreign governments, banks, international finance corporations, insurance companies, and real-estate developers.

Abou El Fadl successfully represented many major international and renowned companies, he took part in a specially created small team that handled the cases filed against Boeing concerning the crash of Egypt Air flight MS 990 off the Coast of the United States on October 31, 1999, and advised on all matters of Egyptian Law before Egyptian courts, the U.S. Federal Court, and the State Court of New York.

Abou El Fadl has also handled major legal issues regarding construction and civil engineering contracts, such as administrative contracts for water plant projects and construction projects. Moreover, he has handled key real estate transactions including sales, leases, mortgages, land acquisition, registration, due diligence, and real estate financing.

Abou El Fadl served as sole arbitrator, presiding arbitrator, party appointed arbitrator or counsel in numerous cases involving national and non-national parties. Abou El Fadl appeared in cases under the auspices of the ICC, CRCICA as well as ad hoc UNCITRAL proceedings.
