MinterEllisonRuddWatts reaffirmed as employer of choice
Leading New Zealand law firm, MinterEllisonRuddWatts has again been named as a top employer in the NZ Lawyer 5-star Employer of Choice 2023 list.
The list showcases legal employers leading the way with policies and initiatives that engage their staff in areas critical to positive employee experience, including leadership, remuneration, as well as health and wellbeing.
MinterEllisonRuddWatts has long held a reputation for a unique and inclusive culture that continues to evolve. The firm was the first New Zealand law firm to publish gender and ethnicity pay gaps via the “Mind The Gap” registry. It also received Living Wage Employer accreditation in 2021 – the first large New Zealand law firm to gain accreditation.
A founding partner of Global Women’s Champions for Change initiative, the firm supports diversity in the workplace and leads the way with 34% of partners and 69% of senior lawyers identifying as female. It is also one of 15 New Zealand workplaces to sign the NZ Law Society's (NZLS) Gender Equality Charter.
