On the business development front, I am networking with industry, peers and the business & law community to increase my personal relationships with clients and public figures inside and outside Kuwait.

2) What do you see as the main points that differentiate Almunaikh Legal Group from your competitors?
At Almunaikh Legal Group, we set ourselves apart from our competitors through several distinct qualities:
3) Which practices do you see growing in the next 12 months? What are the drivers behind that?
Kuwait's 2035 vision is focused on elevating the country into a regional and global financial and trade center, while also enhancing its appeal to investors. The national development plan aligns with international objectives, incorporating them into the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.
This vision paves the way for Kuwait to form strategic partnerships with diverse entities across different sectors to collaborate and achieve the envisioned outcomes. The Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) serves as the central authority for new pivotal projects that aim to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) into Kuwait for sectors and projects of national significance.
We anticipate significant growth and progress in areas such as infrastructure, oil and gas, banking, technology, investment, insurance, retail, FMCG, telecom, electronics, sustainability, healthcare, environment, hotels, housing, urban development, logistics, and more in the coming year and decade. Kuwait presents fertile ground for experts in these domains to establish businesses and offer their services.
As legal and business consultants, we engage with various government bodies and regulators like KDIPA. Our goal and vision are to facilitate a harmonious and fruitful business relationship for all stakeholders while safeguarding their interests.
4) What's the main change you've made in the firm that will benefit clients?
Aligned with the vision of the new initiatives for a New Kuwait, we have made investments to enhance our office with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring our constant availability to clients.
Furthermore, we have bolstered our teams with professionals in the emerging fields envisioned. Our experts possess a deep understanding of the fundamental issues and maintain a forward-looking perspective.
In addition, we are contemplating expanding our legal services beyond Kuwait and are exploring strategic collaborations with esteemed law firms worldwide to leverage our strengths for the benefit of our clients across different jurisdictions.
Moreover, we are increasingly investing in and participating in various events and forums to engage with the global business and legal communities.
5) Is technology changing the way you interact with your clients, and the services you can provide them?
Absolutely, technology is revolutionizing the way we engage with our clients and deliver our services. We are continuously enhancing our in-house legal management system and customer engagement platform to leverage technology for greater efficiency and effectiveness in our services.
We have adopted innovative approaches such as integrating e-signature capabilities, conducting virtual meetings, and utilizing document management software. Additionally, we harness technology for legal research, enabling us to furnish clients with more precise and current information.
6) Can you give me a practical example of how helped a client add value to the business?
The principle in the legal profession is to find out the essence of the problem or issue that requires legal intervention on behalf of the client. Therefore, listening to the client is a necessary basis upon which the measures that will be taken later are based. There are many cases in which we have assisted clients without the intervention of the courts. After correcting the client's legal understanding of the problem presented to him in the research, then the client avoids entering into issues to save time and solve the problem amicably. Some of our cases involve government personnel in their professional capacity with regards to state matters in a diplomatic manner in order to avoid international escalation and resolve amicably.
7) Within your sector, what do you think will be the biggest challenge for clients over the next 12 months
The biggest challenge is the difficulty of the economic aspects of commercial companies due to the challenges and circumstances that the world is going through that have negatively affected all aspects of life and the failure to confront the economic obligations that companies and individuals face in light of these global economic challenges.
8) Are clients looking for stability and strategic direction from their law firms - where do you see the firm in three years’ time?
Clients indeed seek stability and strategic guidance from their legal advisors. We envision the firm establishing itself as a trusted advisor to clients, offering a comprehensive array of legal services and continually adapting to the evolving legal landscape.
With our expertise in Kuwait, we have cultivated strong connections with various stakeholders, enabling us to facilitate communication, bridge gaps, and foster meaningful and fruitful relationships for all involved parties.
Over the next three years, we anticipate the firm's continued growth and expansion while upholding our dedication to exceptional service and client contentment. Furthermore, we aspire to extend our presence in the American, EMEA, and APAC regions. We also look forward to serving as a strategic legal partner to businesses and other entities aligned with the advancement of a New Kuwait.
