Career

Atty. Carlo Artemus Diaz is a seasoned litigation and arbitration lawyer with a strong background in fraud and asset recovery. Currently a junior partner for litigation at Sadsad Tamesis Legal and Accountancy Firm or STLAF, he attained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law in 2014 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2016. Since then, he has worked towards achieving a reputation for delivering strategic legal solutions in high-stakes disputes, both in courts and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) forums. In 2023, he was recognized as a finalist in the Young Lawyer of the Year Category in the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Awards sponsored by Thomson Reuters.

In addition, Atty. Diaz as a junior partner for litigation actively participates in the firm’s business development initiatives, focusing on client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and service innovation. By aligning growth strategies with the firm’s vision of becoming the number one law firm in the Philippines, he plays a crucial role in expanding market presence and strengthening client relationships.

Beyond private practice, Atty. Diaz is likewise a professor of law in various law schools in Metro Manila, teaching bar review subjects such as Civil Law Review and Remedial Law Review. He is also a lecturer on the enforcement of various child protection laws in the context of education or learning institutions, imparting his legal knowledge and expertise in various child protection laws.
