Position

Morten is the managing partner for Kennedys in Denmark. He graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 1994 and qualified in 1997. Morten was admitted to the High Court in 1997 and to the Supreme Court in 2002. He has appeared over 10 times in the Supreme Court and is one of the few members in Denmark of the Danish Supreme Court Bar Association (Højesteretsskranken). From 1998 until 2006, Morten worked as special counsel for the District Attorney of Copenhagen in white collar crime cases.

Throughout his career, Morten has represented insurers within almost all lines. Over the last 20 years Morten has increasingly focused on professional indemnity, directors and officers’ liability, financial institutions, cyber, high value property claims, coverage advice, excess and reinsurance. Morten acts both as defence and coverage counsel and is a very experienced litigator and certified arbitrator.

Morten has represented the international insurance market in several significant losses often related to collapsed banks, initial public offerings (IPOs), securities claims and money laundering.
