Merve is an antitrust lawyer advising clients on all aspects of Turkish competition law, with a particular focus on merger control and compliance matters. She has been involved in a number of merger filings to the Turkish Competition Authority and conducted multijurisdictional merger filing requirement assessments advising mainly multinational clients.

Having exceptional drafting skills, Merve acts as counsel in legal proceedings before the Turkish courts in respect of the Turkish Competition Board decisions.

To date, she has represented clients from a diverse range of industries including FMCG, digital platforms, food and beverages, mining, and energy.

Having a special interest in data privacy, e-commerce, and foreign direct investment (FDI) related matters, she actively contributes to publications.

She was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in 2022 and is fluent in French and English.
