Senior Associate

Victoria Derban is a Senior Associate at Egality Law. She is qualified at the Ghana Bar and holds an Undergraduate degree in Law from the University of Surrey, (U.K.) and a Master of Laws in International Business Law at Queen Mary, University of London (U.K). She is also an adjunct lecturer in intellectual property law at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.

She is a specialist in corporate, commercial and intellectual property law and leads on many of the firm's major corporate and commercial transactions. This includes representing clients in review and negotiation of service agreements and advising on all aspects of commerce.

Victoria is also a certified data protection supervisor and regularly advises on data protection issues under Ghanaian law. Victoria is "singled out" for her work with the firm's corporate, commercial and M&A practice, according to the Legal500 2024 edition.
