María Alejandra is a Senior Associate in the Tax Law practice area.

Maria Alejandra provides guidance and support to both national and international clients, in a wide range of matters related to national and international taxation.

Additionally, she has experience in the application of double taxation treaties, transfer pricing regulations, and foreign exchange regulation in structuring cross-border operations and international investments. She is also an active member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Capítulo Colombia, where she has held various roles, including YIN representative (2022-2023) and WIN representative (2023-2024).

Before joining the firm, she was part of the Tax team at a prominent Colombian law firm and participated in an internship program in Accounting and Financial Advisory at one of the world's largest audit firms.
