From 2015 to 2019, Stéphanie Kuonen worked as a legal counsel for the State of Fribourg, with the Land-use Planning and Constructions Division, and with the Office for Constructions and Land-use Planning.

She joined the firm at the start of 2020 as a specialist associate.

Education

Stephanie Kuonen obtained her Master’s degree in law (bilingual) from the University of Fribourg in 2011 magna cum laude and obtained the Swiss Bar in 2014.

In 2022, she obtained a DAS in sports law from the University of Neuchâtel. Her dissertation focused on the theme of transfers in football. This qualification enabled her to acquire in-depth knowledge, particularly in the fields of sports organisations (federations and clubs), contracts specifically related to sport as well as sports arbitration, which allows her to advise and ensure a strong defence of both sports organisations and athletes.
