Jim has specialised in personal injury litigation for over 30 years, acting solely for Claimants. John White is dual-qualified as a doctor and a lawyer, which gives him unrivalled insight into the cases that he manages.  He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians.  He has higher rights of audience, undertakes advocacy work, and has represented clients in about 35 inquest hearings.  John was the solicitor in the leading causation authority of Bailey v MOD (in the Court of Appeal) and in the quantum authority of XXX v A Strategic Health Authority (in the High Court), being the largest damages award in this country for cerebral palsy at that time.  John acted for families in the Gosport War Memorial hospital case. Julia is a Senior Litigator and regional co-ordinator for APIL. She has specialist expertise in maximum severity brain injury claims. During that period, she has represented numerous clients with SEN, both children and young adults up to the age of 25. She is regularly invited to speak at specialist schools, parent groups and charities.  Sarah has a background of representing children involved in care proceedings and therefore has knowledge of the social care system and the support available for children with SEN and disabilities. Stewart Young is a Legal Director with a wealth of experience in bringing maximum severity clinical negligence claims at the High Court level. Stewart has acted for individuals in a variety of cases, including spinal, brain injury, birth injury and sepsis cases.  He obtained AvMA Panel Member accreditation in November 2023. He is also accredited as a Senior Litigator by APIL. Stewart has a special interest in birth injury claims.
