Waleska maintains a broad practice, representing individuals and entities in all stages of litigation in civil and criminal matters. While at Boies Schiller Flexner,  she represented clients in complex federal and state actions throughout New York.

Additionally, Waleska is a skilled appellate litigator, having served as a law clerk to the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and an Assistant District Attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. She has regularly argued appeals in New York State courts and has participated in drafting a certiorari petition and an amicus brief in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Waleska is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian.
