Founder

Arzu Maltepe is the Founder of Saglamdemir Law Office. She has years of experience in the field of IP rights. In addition to managing the Law Office, she also serves as a Panelist in Domain Name Dispute Resolutions in TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Excanhes of Türkiye)  and as an Expert in IP courts.

She began her legal career as a trainee lawyer at Özgün Law Office in 2005. After completing her internship, she worked for four years as an IP lawyer at the leading firm Başalan Law.

In 2007, she obtained the title of Trademark and Patent Attorney, awarded by TÜRKPATENT (the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office). After gaining significant experience in the field and determining her area of specialization, she established her own practice, Sağlamdemir Law Office.

Thanks to her extensive experience and professional achievements, she began serving as a court-appointed expert in 2020. Since 2022, she has also been acting as a panelist at TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye).

She is member of INTA - International Trademark Organization, AIPPI - International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and AHK - Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce.

She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2004. Following her bachelor's degree, she pursued a Master’s degree at the same university, which she successfully completed with a thesis in 2007.
