Associate

As an associate at Olliers, Hannah has developed her case load as a young lawyer significantly since joining the firm in early 2021. 

During that time she has grasped a great deal of experience from pre-charge engagement to assisting Magistrates preparation whilst handling a busy Crown Court caseload. She has demonstrated a great appreciation from working on a case from the early stages and believes having a firm understanding of this process is fundamental to her clients but also her own professional development.

Hannah’s portfolio of work is wide in that it varies from serious sexual assault matters to dishonesty offences as well as practicing in drug-related matters, serious assault and murder.

Hannah is commended for her approachable nature with each client and ensures that each individual she represents is considered on a case-by-case basis with her meticulous style.

Hannah deals with both private and publicly funded work especially having developed her pre-charge portfolio of work in the last couple of years. She appreciates how crucial this process can be in avoiding a charging decision by adopting a proactive approach from the get-go and has frequently made representations against charge on behalf of the client, at times involving counsel where appropriate. 

As well as being a police station-accredited representative who is relied on frequently, Hannah in the last year has grown into the role of an advocate at the Magistrates Court. She recognizes any advice provided to a client at that stage including in a police station is detrimental and can have real ramifications as to how  a case progresses.
