Advice to many land, owning and farming businesses on succession issues and tax.

Career

Anthony trained with Thomas Eggar LLP in Chichester in the early 1980s, qualifying in 1982 and becoming an associate in 1984. After more than 20 years with Lester Aldridge, at first in Bournemouth and then in Southampton, Anthony rejoined Thomas Eggar LLP as a partner in 2007. Regular lecturer on trust and tax issues over the last 15 years to south of England branches of Chartered Institute of Taxation, Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, local Law Societies and accountants' groups. Articles published on www.taxationweb.co.uk and in the Solicitors Journal.

Chartered Institute of Taxation (Chairman Hampshire branch 2006-07) since 1999; Association of Taxation Technicians since 1997 (appointed fellow 2012); Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (committee member Central Southern branch since 2007, secretary 2009-11) since 1991; Law Society (member capital taxes sub-committee since 2005) since admission in 1982.
