Position

Clementine is a Legal Director in the Dispute Resolution department specialising in commercial litigation and contentious trust/estate matters.

She advises on a wide range of matters in this field, including complex, high value domestic and offshore trust disputes, contentious estate administrations, 1975 Act claims and trusts in the context of divorce.

She is particularly experienced in matters involving complex corporate structures and company law issues, given her corporate/private equity background.

She advises companies, funds, trustees, beneficiaries and high-net worth individuals on a wide range of commercial and trust/estate litigation, including shareholder disputes, insolvency issues, fraud and asset recovery, contractual and negligence claims, claims for breach of trust and fiduciary duty, disputes between beneficiaries and contentious probate matters.

Clementine is particularly well-placed to advise on disputes involving complex corporate structures, multi-jurisdictional issues and questions of company law, owing to her prior experience in the private equity team at Weil Gotshal & Manges and on secondment to the investment funds Oaktree Capital and Hambro Perks.

Clementine is particularly experienced in matters involving complex corporate/trust structures, questions of company law and cross-border issues, given her previous experience as a corporate solicitor at a leading international law firm and as in-house counsel at a major private equity fund.

Clementine regularly publishes articles and speaks at conferences on issues relevant to her practice.

Education

Clementine trained and practised at Weil Gotshal & Manges and Farrer & Co before joining Payne Hicks Beach as an Associate in 2022. She was promoted to Senior Associate in 2023 and to Legal Director in 2024. She also has Higher Rights of Audience.
