Ryan is a solicitor with over 10 years of experience acting for clients involved in commercial disputes, often involving multiple jurisdictions. He has acted for a wide range of clients, from high-net-worth individuals to publicly-listed companies.

Ryan has extensive experience of disputes involving alleged breaches of contract, negligence, shareholder claims, civil fraud, and breaches of directors’ duties. He is also a reputation management and defamation specialist, acting for both publishers and publishees on pre-publication issues, injunctions, and High Court defamation proceedings.

Ryan acts for clients in both High Court claims and arbitrations. His work also includes advising on settlement strategies and representing clients in mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Ryan also advises clients on business risk and compliance issues, principally focused on anti-bribery and corruption issues, and has undertaken corporate investigations, including in relation to cyber fraud.
