Oliver specialises in mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, management buy-ins, buy-in management buyouts, private equity transactions and venture capital trusts. Throughout Oliver’s career, he has worked on numerous transactions, but developed a niche in the travel / leisure sector, in which he has advised on over 40 deals, as well as in marine and transport / logistics. He also has expertise in other types of investments and fundraising, cross border transactions, corporate reorganisation and restructuring, shareholder agreements and issues relating to company constitutions. Oliver has been commended for his ‘ability to navigate complex transactions when providing valuable legal counsel to ensure successful deal outcomes’ as the Lawyer of the Year 2024 at the Solent Deal Awards.

His commercial advice covers commercial contracts, IT and technology contracts, outsourcing, franchising, and intellectual property.
