Alex advises varying clients in licensing applications ranging from full and minor variations to variation of designated premises supervisors. Alex has extensive knowledge of the regulations and procedures around temporary event notices.
Alex works closely with Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail, Pizza Express and Zizzi’s.
He understands the business requirements and needs while also being able to advise on the more technical legal aspect.
He is well respected and has a great deal of knowledge with the areas listed above. Alex also has a great relationship with various licensing authorities which is vital in this industry.
Education
Alex Tomlinson gained his LLB (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University in 2019.
Alex returned to Poppleston Allen the following summer to commence his training contract with the firm as he completed his Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2023.
