Ellie recently qualified as a solicitor in the Commercial Dispute Resolution department.
Ellie has worked at Prettys since 2019, starting at the firm on a temporary placement as part of her undergraduate Law degree at Nottingham Trent University. Ellie continued to work at the firm throughout her undergraduate studies. Ellie gained experience working as a paralegal within the Commercial Property department before starting her training contract in September 2022. Since, Ellie has gained experience working as a trainee solicitor in the Employment department, and in the Commercial Dispute Resolution department.
During the course of her training contract, Ellie continued her post-graduate studies part-time at the University of Law and in 2023, obtained a distinction in the Legal Practice Course LLM.
Ellie regularly puts the knowledge gained as a paralegal in the commercial property department into practice, advising on a variety of property litigation matters. Ellie also assists in a wide variety of disputes, such as: contentious probate; insolvency; and debt claims.
