Senior Associate, South West & Wales

Katy specialises in family law with a focus on divorce and separation, division of financial assets after marriage breakdown, and private law children’s matters. Additionally, she advises couples at the beginning of relationships on safeguarding their wealth through prenuptial agreements. After initially working in criminal law for over a decade, including complex and high-profile cases in Wales and Australia, Katy transitioned to family law in April 2020. She became a solicitor in 2021 and now serves as a Senior Associate at Stowe Family Law, supporting clients in the South West & Wales offices, including Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, and Cheltenham.

Katy is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), holding the designation of SRA-regulated solicitor and SRA Accredited Police Station Representative.

Katy graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Business from the University of Wales before earning her Graduate Diploma in Law from Cardiff University in 2019. Following this, she completed the Legal Practice Course at Swansea University with distinction.

Katy is enthusiastic about the outdoors and staying active, often spending her free time on coastal paths, hiking, and attempting to master surfing. A seasoned traveller, she has lived and worked in Australia, and she enjoys quality time with family and friends, particularly over good food.
