Jemma is a highly respected family law practitioner who has established her reputation in Surrey and London and, more recently, in the South West and Wales since her return in 2015. She has extensive experience in handling all areas of family law, including divorce, separation, cohabitation disputes, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, freezing injunctions, breakdowns of civil partnerships, jurisdictional disputes, enforcement, and appeals.

Jemma often advises high-profile clients, including professional athletes, politicians, and business leaders. She has particular expertise in managing cases involving substantial and complex assets, such as offshore trusts, pensions, company shareholdings, other business interests, and properties. Her cases frequently involve tracing hidden assets both within the UK and abroad, often necessitating proceedings in the High Court due to the value and complexity of the assets or international considerations.

Jemma also advises on all aspects of private children law, from child arrangement disputes and financial claims to issues regarding the relocation of children within and outside the jurisdiction of England and Wales. She currently serves as the Regional Director of Stowe’s London and South East offices.

Resolution

Jemma initially studied geography at Swansea University before converting to law. She completed her Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University, qualified as a solicitor in 2005, and has since specialised exclusively in family law.
