Katie is a seasoned solicitor with extensive experience in all facets of family law. She provides guidance and representation for clients navigating divorce, civil partnerships, and various family law matters concerning children. Her expertise ranges from typical family cases with minimal assets to complex situations involving wealthy clients with substantial business interests and multi-million-pound assets. Katie is well-versed in pre-nuptial agreements, divorce proceedings, separation agreements, and cases involving domestic abuse. She also handles child-related issues such as child arrangement orders, grandparents' rights, financial provision for children, and relocation cases.

Katie is a qualified collaborative lawyer and holds the distinction of being a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Complex Financial Remedies and Private Children.

Katie completed her undergraduate degree in History at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, followed by a law degree at BPP Law School in Leeds. After graduating in 2008, she began her legal career at a busy legal aid practice in Leeds City Centre, specialising in family law ever since.

Outside her professional life, Katie is an enthusiastic traveller who enjoys exploring new countries during her time off. She is also a proud dog owner, frequently taking her energetic dog for walks in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.
