Andrew Roper leads the RPC Property Recovery Team in Bristol.  Having specialised in property recoveries for over 15 years, Andrew has extensive experience of the UK Property Insured Market.

Andrew advises on subrogated recoveries across the full range of first- and third-party property policies including Commercial and Residential Property Owners, High Net Worth, Contractors All Risk, Jewellers Block, Contractors Public Liability.

Andrew has track record of providing concise and commercial advice in order to drive claims to a successful conclusion as quickly as possible.

Work highlights 

Acting for insurers in a £12m subrogated recovery across three instances of escape of water at a high specification development. Multi-party action involving the main-contractor and two sub-contractors. Issues included the Claimants ability to bring the claims, allegations of defective installation, contributory negligence, and disputes between parties over the insurance arrangements.
