Practice areas include separation, divorce, cohabitation, prenuptial agreements, civil partnership, child law and adoption. The department offers collaborative family law, and has multiple partners who are Law Society of Scotland-accredited family law mediators.

Private client: The firm’s highly respected private client team works across multiple disciplines, including personal financial planning, criminal defence, equine law, asset protection, wills, trusts, executries and estate planning. We also offer niche support to elderly and vulnerable clients.

National network of offices: Aberdein Considine has 19 offices across Scotland and the north of England, including nine in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, three in Edinburgh, three in Glasgow, as well as Perth, Stirling,  and Newcastle upon Tyne.
