(Hall of Fame)The serious and specialist personal injury Slater and Gordon has a national focus and is led from London by Tracey Benson, but it has a deep bench of talent in Cambridge, which is a central hub for its complex and high-value work. Paul Tapner (who ‘always goes above and beyond‘), Angela Beric (who’ has an encyclopaedic knowledge of her cases‘), and Richard Gaffney (who is ‘very thorough in chasing down points of detail‘) are the standout partners. Senior associate Crystal Eaton also plays a key role in the firm’s key catastrophic injury matters. Tapner recently settled a £15m claim for a catastrophic brain injury during a rugby match.
