Work undertaken: all complex children proceedings, including private law/public law care cases; adoption (including inter-country adoption); surrogacy and alternative family law.

Advises and represents parents, children, children’s guardians and other family members. Conducts much of her own advocacy, including in the High Court.

Trained Allen & Overy; qualified 1993; Atkins Hope, Croydon 1994-2000; Russell-Cooke 2000, partner since 2004.

Accredited to the Law Society’s Children Panel since 1998; Awarded Higher Courts (Civil Advocacy) qualification in 2008; Awarded the Legal Aid ‘Lawyer of the Year’ award 2008.

Member of Resolution; the Association of Lawyers for Children (ALC) and NAGALRO.

Member of the Resolution Legal Aid committee. Provides training for Resolution.
