Position

Yoshitoshi Imoto is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He advises on all aspects of competition law for both domestic and multi-national clients in connection with M&A, strategic alliance projects, IT/digital antitrust matters as well as cartel investigations and follow-on private lawsuits.

He has abundant experiences and expertise in handling high-profile and complex mergers particularly in pharmaceutical industry, automobiles and electronics sectors. His recent professional highlights also include counseling for both domestic and international clients in relation to antitrust investigations on unilateral conduct.  He successfully represented a third party claimant that suffered from the industry leader's exclusionary conduct that resulted in the authority's formal investigation.
