Career

Seon Yeong Kwon is an attorney at Kim & Chang. She practices primarily in the areas of labor & employment, environment, international trade & customs, and antitrust & competition.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Ms. Kwon served as a public prosecutor for 14 years during which she led many high profile cases involving illegal strikes, industrial accidents and illegal political funds, among others.

Ms. Kwon also served the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) as a Policy Advisor to the Minister of Justice. Through her experience as a policy advisor, she has become well versed in a vast range of matters regarding the MOJ, including international legal affairs, immigration, correction and rehabilitation.

Ms. Kwon received an LL.B. from Korea University College of Law in 2003. She graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2005.
