Career

Chang Sup Kwon is a senior attorney at Kim & Chang, who is a member of the Energy Practice and the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice.

Mr. Kwon has practiced in a wide range of areas in corporate and energy law, and has extensive experience in M&A, joint venture, private equity transactions and foreign direct investment transactions. He works closely with investment banks, PEFs and corporations in various industries in connection with their M&A, restructuring and financing needs.

In addition to being known for his M&A expertise, Mr. Kwon has in-depth understanding of the laws and regulations related to energy project developments. Among others, he has represented sponsors of domestic and overseas renewable project developments, and has expertise in material commercial arrangements necessary for project development.

Mr. Kwon received his LL.M. from the University of Southern California in 2016 and his B.A. from Seoul National University in 2004. He graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2007 and is admitted to the Korean bar.
