Career

Seok Hee Lee is an attorney at Kim & Chang. Mr. Lee practices primarily in the areas of trade secret litigation, intellectual property litigation and privacy, as well as issues in the entertainment, sports and leisure industries.

Mr. Lee’s clients’ include semiconductor and display manufacturers, secondary battery manufacturers, materials suppliers, technology firms and financial institutions. He has represented Korean and international corporate clients in various civil and criminal disputes in connection with intellectual property matters, trade secrets and transfer/non-competition related issues.

Mr. Lee has advised on trade secret issues as an advisor at the Korea Trade Commission for Intellectual Property, and co-authored the chapter “Trade Secret Protection in Korea” published by Global Law and Business Ltd. He is a guest lecturer on the topics of “trade secret protection policies and practices” and “privacy protection” at the Korean Bar Association, the Seoul Bar Association, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (“KAIST”) and the Korean Trade Commission, and has also delivered lectures for various corporate clients.
