Career

Minjung Park is a senior attorney at Kim & Chang. She practices primarily in the areas of litigation, arbitration and intellectual property.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Ms. Park served in the Korean judiciary for 13 years, first as a judge in Seoul and Uijeongbu district courts and later in the Patent Court. During her tenure as a judge, Ms. Park accumulated extensive experience in a wide range of civil, criminal, domestic and patent litigation.

As a patent attorney in the firm, Ms. Park is an expert on patents, trademarks and design protection law, and litigation.

Ms. Park was a Visiting Scholar at Duke University School of Law. She received her LL.M. with a degree in intellectual property law from the Korea University School of Law in 2007 and her LL.B. from Korea University College of Law in 1994. She attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2000. She is admitted to the Korean bar.
