Inchan Andrew Kwon is a US-licensed attorney and patent attorney in Kim & Chang’s IP group. His practice at Kim & Chang covers all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, with a focus on patent litigation and dispute resolution. Mr. Kwon has worked on patents in all technical areas, including pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, semiconductors, and consumer goods. Mr. Kwon also has substantial experience handling other related IP matters such as plant variety cases, trade secrets cases, and patent licensing and due diligence matters, as well as relating to general commercial disputes, and fair trade and antitrust. Mr. Kwon also has handled numerous international trade and customs matters on behalf of technology and chemical clients, including customs audits, customs criminal investigations, and advance customs valuation cases.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kwon practiced for several years at a respected Silicon Valley IP boutique firm and then at a large national US law firm, where he represented clients in all phases of litigation in numerous cases in federal and state court and at the US International Trade Commission, including managing all aspects of US discovery and as a member of two ITC patent trial teams involving various semiconductor technologies. Mr. Kwon is also registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office, and has prosecuted patents in areas such a LCD displays and dental device technology.
