Ji Hwan Kim is an attorney with expertise in International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation and International Practice of Kim & Chang.

Mr. Kim possesses extensive experience in coordinating complex international disputes, involving various practices such as corporate & M&A litigation, construction & engineering disputes, and corporate governance & shareholder disputes. He has represented numerous clients in international arbitrations before arbitral institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”), the London Court of International Arbitration (“LCIA”), the Court of Arbitration for Sport (“CAS”), and the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (“KCAB”). In addition, he has represented many clients in international disputes before the Korean courts.

Due to his profound expertise, his clientele spans across a wide range of industries, including construction, energy, maritime, and sports. In particular, Mr. Kim was selected as a member of the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics Sports Arbitration Committee, providing him with the exceptional experience in advising and representing Olympic athletes during the Olympic Games.

Mr. Kim received his J.D. from Korea University Law School with a specialization in Global Legal Practice, and his LL.B. from Seoul National University. He is admitted to the Korean bar and is fluent in both Korean and English.
