Career

Chang Beom Ryu is an attorney in Kim & Chang’s Litigation Practice. Mr. Ryu’s practice involves a variety of complex commercial litigation, with a special emphasis on securities and derivatives litigation.

Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Ryu served in the judiciary as a judge for eight years, including in the Seoul Central District Court and the Seoul Administrative Court. During his tenure as a judge, he gained extensive experience in a wide range of matters in civil, criminal and administrative litigation.

Reflecting his varied experiences as a judge, Mr. Ryu has a broad practice in civil, criminal and administrative litigation at the firm. In his civil litigation practice, Mr. Ryu has specialized in financial disputes relating to derivatives products.
