He has practiced primarily in the areas of real Estate, Commercial Contracts and Corporate and banking transactions advising corporates on operational matters including real estate human resources employment and labour, inheritance and family matters for the past 30 years. He is also experienced in the hotel industry particularly relating to franchise and operating agreements . He has a long working relationship with Oil and Gas Industry drafting pipeline and refinery related agreements and advising on vital contractual aspects. before the coming of Competition Act 2002, he regularly advised clients on issues arising out of the monppolies and restrictive Trade practices Act 1969 and now heads the practice group dealing with issues arising out of the competition Act 2002. This Practice  group keeps a close watch on developments before the competition commission and its appellate body and with a view to keep clients advised on the upto date legal position under this new Law.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from St Stephen's College and LLB from Faculty of Law University of Delhi
