She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London with an Upper Second-Class Honours and a Master of Laws with Distinction from University College London. She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2011. Syafinaz focuses on areas of law relating to corporate debt recovery, commercial fraud as well as banking and finance litigation. She also specialises in matters involving recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.
