Position
Matt is a senior associate in the Commercial department, based in Milton Keynes. Matt has experience in advising clients on a variety of commercial matters, including supply agreements for goods and services, IT agreements, confidentiality agreements, advertising and marketing agreements, and consumer terms and conditions.
Matt also has a particular interest in data protection, having advised and supported some of the largest companies in the UK on GDPR-compliance.
Career
Prior to joining Shoosmiths, Matt trained at a large City law firm and worked for a further 4 years within a number of Legal 500-recommended corporate and commercial teams. Matt has also worked for over 10 years as a media and marketing communications adviser, including as a press officer for a number of central government departments.
Matt read English Literature at the University of Sheffield gaining a 1st class degree before completing his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School
