Albi is a Senior Associate construction lawyer with experience in acting for funders, developers, contractors, consultants and end-users across a wide range of sectors including retail, office, manufacturing, residential, energy and infrastructure. His work includes negotiating and advising on building contracts, bonds, guarantees, appointments, collateral warranties and construction aspects of funding agreements, development agreements and agreements for lease.

His recent project experience includes:

acting for a developer in relation to the development of a mixed office, residential and hotel scheme with a development value of £200 million; advising a distribution company on the construction aspects of its leasehold acquisition of a new 300,000 sq ft distribution hub; and acting for a developer in relation to a 350 unit build to rent scheme in Manchester.

Albi joined Shoosmiths in 2021 shortly after qualification having completed a legal apprenticeship with his previous firm, where he also gained experience in construction disputes.
