Will is a Partner in real estate with wide experience of all transactional real estate matters, including extensive experience advising on:

• • investment sales and acquisitions for institutional investors;

• • residential, commercial and mixed-use developments for developers;

• • all aspects of portfolio management for commercial landlords and occupiers; and

• • the real estate aspects of corporate and finance transactions.

His recent project experience includes advising:

• • on the £600m sale of two major designer retail outlets in Cheshire Oaks and Swindon;

• • an institutional investor on a £90m multi-let retail sector disposal and a distressed shopping centre sale for £80m;

• • a major house builder and commercial developer joint venture on a landmark city centre regeneration scheme;

• • a listed residential developer on an agreement for a substantial rural housing scheme and construction of new secondary school;

• • on the acquisition, ongoing asset management and potential mixed-use development of a regional shopping centre; and
  • head office acquisitions and lease regears for several major corporate occupiers.

Will joined Shoosmiths' real estate practice in January 2019, having previously worked at PwC and Hogan Lovells.
