Career

Josh  is recognised as one of Australia’s leading construction and infrastructure lawyers. He represents many of the major infrastructure and project participants in Australia, and the Asia Pacific, having also practiced in the UK and Europe.  He advises on major infrastructure disputes in all formats including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, appraisal and expert determination. In addition, he advises on major infrastructure delivery, including via EPC, EPCM, PPP and alliance delivery models.

Presently, Joshua is the lead partner advising clients on significant international arbitrations regarding projects in Asia, and in relation to disputes concerning mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure projects in Australia. Joshua is an exceptionally client-focussed partner, who works closely with the in-house counsel, executive and boards of clients.  He also lectures in International Commercial Arbitration to university law students.
