Eddie’s skills and experience are highly demanded by big business. Advising major clients across the public and private sectors, Eddie specialises in solving some of the most complex and challenging issues that companies face today. This includes navigating the Competition and Consumer Act, intellectual property issues, electronic commerce arrangements, large-scale ICT system integration contracts, and the structuring of strategic technology and marketing joint ventures and sponsorship arrangements. Eddie also regularly acts in complex litigation matters appearing before the superior courts and tribunals on clients’ behalf. This has included patent infringement proceedings in the Federal Court, a High Court appeal over copyright issues, and International Arbitrations involving claims of breach of confidence and copyright.
